PIZZA AND A MOVIE

It seemed like we hadn’t done anything as a family in years.  I work a full time job during the day; my wife works in the evenings and on weekends and both of our children are in school and developing different interests.  I just wanted to find something that we could all, not necessarily flip head over heels about doing, but at least enjoy. When my wife brought up the idea of buying Wicked tickets for the family outing, there didn’t seem to be any real hesitation on anyone’s part, which was good because the rest of our interests are pretty conflicting.  My youngest daughter and I both enjoy baseball and basketball but my wife an older daughter can’t stand them and I can’t even begin to understand how anyone liked the music or movies that any of them were into.  I can’t believe that we actually found something that we can all agree on – my wife loves musicals, it’s not only suitable but recommended for children, the Wizard of Oz was one of my oldest daughter’s favorite movies and I’ve always been a big fantasy buff.  Sure it will be more expensive that ordering a pizza and renting a movie, but it is something that we can all enjoy and something that we will all certainly remember.
