My sister is coming over today to tell me how her trip to Michigan was. I'm really excited for her. Ever since she went bankrupt she hasn't wasted any time in making a fresh start of things. I can tell what a difference it has made for her not to have all that debt anymore. It got to a point where it was all she would talk about on the phone. She would talk about which credit card bill was due next and how much they were and how she wondered where she was going to come up with the money to pay for it all. Then when they cut her hours back at work things got especially bad. Sometimes she would be in the middle of a sentence and just start crying. The conversations weren't about what they should be about. You know, things like how she and her husband were going to visit her husbands parents and stay with them or how her kids were doing. Now she's finally talking about what makes her happy. She thinks it would be a fun for the kids to stay with her husband's parents so they can play with the horses and ride on the tractors. I know her kids are really enjoying seeing their mom happy again.
